Responsibilities include:

  • Innovation leader. Working with our Managing Director(MD), Creative Director(CD) and Digital Director(DD) to constantly look ahead so that new possibilities that can offer competitive advantages to clients are understood. You will own (alongside our MD) the six monthly ‘Future of Seamless Experiences’ roadshow that we take to clients.
  • A disruptive innovation profile builder. Constantly seeking ways to raise the agency’s profile as a business strategy and marketing innovation leader. We want BLY to be seen as ‘rogue’ (but in a good way) among our competitor agency and consultancy set.
  • Client retention and growth. Leading and challenging your team to deliver new ideas, thoughts and solutions such that BLY is perceived by clients as a critical partner.
  • Consultancy Selling. A compelling personality that can ensure that, when we bid, we usually win. Through networking and proposition, helps us to find opportunities where we don’t need to bid to win. Able to confidently lead organisations ‘C’ suites through digital transformation.
  • Innovation leader for the team to follow. Overall ownership of client relationships with BLY’s client services and strategy team. Constantly challenging the team to think ahead for our clients and demonstrate curiosity for the new.

What is essential is that you have proven credentials, huge energy; network, curiosity, a sense of fun, and an appetite to deliver the agency partner that can ensure client organisations remain profitable through turbulent times.

We’re looking for:

  • Future thinker. Dynamic, visionary, standard-setter who merges the agency and consultancy worlds.
  • An articulate, confident and persuasive individual. Fantastic interpersonal skills and a proven ability to build trusted working relationships – crucially, at ‘C’ level.
  • Brilliant strategist. A proven ability to lead clients through change.
  • Team inspiration. Ability to grow others so that they feel ‘left out’ unless they are part of the innovation process.
  • Gravitas. The ability to confidently and consistently sell strategic, creative and innovative ideas. An ability to range across the whole picture (marketing strategy, business strategy, proposition, data and tech, people strategy).
  • Unafraid of change.
  • Unafraid of taking responsibility for delivery of numbers.
  • Team worker. But, crucially, not ‘group thinker’.
